GroupID 8 and above - Automate

Business Scenario:

By default, when we click on All Groups, Smart Groups, or any other view in the left pane, Automate displays groups from the entire identity store. You can save network bandwidth and improve performance by limiting the display scope to an organizational unit.

Steps:

  1. In GroupID Management Console, expand the Automate node, right-click All Groups and select Modify Group Scope.

  2. On the Recipient Scope dialog box, click the Browse button next to the Organizational Unit box.
    The Select container dialog box is displayed.

  3. Select the desired container and click OK.
    Automate will display groups from this container only.
  4. Click OK to close the Recipient Scope dialog box.
